Now I know what you’re thinking. Olive green isn’t considered a spring color. Where are the pastels and brights? But frankly, pastel and bright colors aren’t my thing and they typically aren’t flattering on me either. I’m naturally drawn to darker, more muted colors and those are also the colors that look best with my skin tone, hair, and eye color. And olive green just happens to be my FAVORITE! If a clothing item comes in multiple colors and olive green is one of them, you can bet I’ll be purchasing that item in olive green! There’s just something edgy, yet feminine about it that I love. Not to mention, every time I wear olive green I always get compliments and what girl doesn’t love compliments!? So when I was browsing online on Old Navy’s website and came across this dress, I knew I had to have it! I went into the store specifically in search of this dress and it’s even more beautiful in person than it was online. I’m obsessed! I love that the detailing on the dress is fairly simple, but is just enough to give it a feminine touch, while the length adds sophistication. It’s the perfect combination of exactly what my style is.
I typically wear the petite sizes at Old Navy (I’m 5’4″ for reference), but this dress was only available in regular sizes and it actually fits perfect.
