Happy Friday!! Who’s ready for the weekend!? We are currently on our way up to Rancho Palos Verdes for our fourth wedding this season, but hey I’m not complaining. 😏 This girl loves weddings! So I thought it appropriate to round up some of my favorite wedding guest dresses for this season and also share the dress I wore to a recent wedding we attended.
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending my cousin’s wedding in Temecula and it was so beautiful! I found this blue floral ruffle tea dress a few months ago and knew it was the perfect dress to wear to this wedding. It was the epitome of spring and I loved the lightweight fabric. It was pretty hot earlier that day, but even with the long sleeves of the dress, I felt comfortable the entire time. Since the floral print and ruffles of the dress already made enough of a statement on their own, I chose to keep my accessories simple and paired it with pearl stud earrings, a neutral bag, and minimal sandals. The shoes I wore it with are seriously THE shoes of the year! These shoes alone are getting me through wedding season. They are so comfortable and perfect for a night of dancing. I even wear them out casually and I also bought them in black!) I’ve seen this style on bloggers everywhere and often for more expensive, but this pair is only $30!! Such a steal!

There’s a reason spring and summer are considered wedding season… Because it’s the best season for wedding guest dresses, right!? Just kidding. 😉 The weather begins to warm up, flowers start to bloom, and pastels are all around us. It’s also a symbol of new life and new beginnings. The perfect recipe for a perfect wedding.
With spring and summer, you now have the opportunity to play it up with floral prints and lightweight fabrics. Below I’ve rounded up some of the dresses I’ve been eyeing for all of my upcoming weddings. Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram to get a sneak peak of what dress I have in store for this weekend’s wedding. 😉
Lace Midi Dress – This dress has been everywhere this season and for good reason! It’s such a classic silhouette that really flatters everyone and I love the delicateness of the lace. I’ve seen this dress in so many colors and also at much more affordable prices, such as this one and this one.
Mint Green Wrap Pleated Maxi Dress – I have a new found love for maxi dresses. I never used to wear them because I thought they were meant for taller body types, but I recently purchased my first maxi dress and I’m obsessed with it! I love that maxi dresses instantly add sophistication to your look. The difference in the textures on this dress also add a little personality to the dress and the mint green color is perfect for spring and summer.
Light Blue Chiffon Maxi Dress – Again with the maxi dresses, I know. But I love the small slit in the front of this one that add just a touch of sexiness, but not too much to where it’s inappropriate for a wedding. This one is also made of chiffon which is a perfect fabric for spring and summer. It’s lightweight so you won’t find yourself uncomfortable as you’re sitting through those sunny outdoor ceremonies.
Pink Pearl Satin Maxi Dress – Of course, a silk dress had to make an appearance somewhere on this list. Silk is another fabric that is so lightweight, but, even better, it feels wonderful against your skin and maintains a cooler temperature, both of which are reasons why it’s used for items such as bed sheets and pajamas. So essentially you’re getting the luxury of feeling like you’re in your bed, but looking incredibly glamorous while doing it. 😉 I’d say that’s a win-win!
Floral Off the Shoulder Dress – And last but not least, what spring/summer wedding guest dress list would be complete without a floral dress? As you can see from the dress I wore in this post I love floral prints. I love that this dress plays on the current off the shoulder trend too, which makes it a little flirty. Perfect for those single ladies hoping to catch the bouquet! 😉 Plus it comes in pink and purple!
